Specifications

Curtain:
Constructed of two part extruded aluminium hinges 2.0” x 1.0”.

Consecutive hinges connected by 3.0” wide x 2.4” high links spaced at no more than 50.2” centres. The section created can be glazed with 1/8” clear or translucent polycarbonate or perforated aluminium infills with 42% free airflow offering an overall free airflow of 21.5%. Hinge ends are fitted with nylon end clips for smooth performance and prevention of lateral movement.

Side Guide:
4.1” x 1.6” extruded aluminium with schlegal nylofelt buffer for quiet operation.

Operation:
Superspan doors are only available in motorized version.

Bottom Rail:
2.4” x 0.9” extruded box section for full width with 2.0” extruded bottom panel interlocking the above to form a tee.

Brackets:
Manufactured from 0.4” mild steel.

Roller Drum:
Manufactured from 8.6” seamless tube attached to self-lubricating bearings rotating on a 1.4” steel shaft. The shaft shall be fitted with helical springs designed to counterbalance the curtain weight throughout its operation. The drum shall be designed to give minimum deflection over the span.

Mullions:
May be incorporated to suit individual or multiple openings.

Finish:
The Superspan shutter can be supplied in any powder coat or anodized color. Note: For widths over 295.3” some color restrictions may apply.
