Bi-Fold Door

Curtain:
The curtain shall be constructed from specially designed 65mm x 40mm top and side rails and 32mm x 40mm mid rails.

These sections shall be able to accept standard glazing beads. The area created by the framing shall be glazed with 3mm or 4.5mm acrylic polycarbonate, 3mm toughened glass or solid panels.

Panels:
Panels to be secured by glazing bead, sanoprene or PVC wedges. Panel heights are normally an even division of the opening height (ie: 2, 4, 6, or 8) but should not exceed 600mm per panel height.

Side Guide:
140mm x 60mm extruded aluminum section with twin 3mm tracks.

Locking:
Shall be centrally mounted, two way mortise key lock or motorization is optional.

Brackets:
Brackets and tracks shall be mono section configuration.

Counterbalance:
Door shall be balanced by the use of torsion springs connected to a rotating shaft. The shaft ends are attached to cable drums which lift/lower the curtain via a flexible cable.

Operation:
Depending on the size, either manual or electrically operated.

Finish:
Anodizing and powdercoated colors.

In exposed areas, refer to the manufacturer for advice on waterproofing.
